My left ankle is swollen and sore. Just above and slightly to the front of the bone that sticks out to the side. I have been looking forward to my run but now I am not so sure if I should go out. I didn’t do anything to hurt it, it was just sore this morning. I keep hoping the pain will go away but it seems to be getting worse. :o(
Not sure what I should do…

you've probably just jarred it - rest it and swim instead :)
If it is sore you shouldn't be going on it with too much until you know what is wrong. I agre with MelBird rest it and swim instead.
Oh no, poor hun!! What do you think you did to it? I'd postpone the run til it's feeling better and do something else.. As soon as you get home, ice it for 20 mins on, 20 mins off.. elevate it too.. those things help to bring the inflammation down!
My ankle is a bit funny at the moment too.. The ligaments feel overstretched :(
